Things to keep in mind when crafting your pitch:
The SG120 application asks each student to write a concise 150-word pitch or upload a short 2-minute video that shares their vision for what Singapore could look like in 2085.
Here are some key tips to help you craft a compelling submission:
✅ Focus on Your Vision
Imagine yourself in the year 2085.
What do you see, hear, and feel?
Answer the core question: “The year is 2085. It’s SG120. What kind of world are you living in?”
What are the biggest changes you hope for?
Consider what challenges Singapore faces today and how your ideas could help solve them in the future.
Be authentic. Speak from the heart. Don’t be afraid to show why this matters to you personally.
✅ Be Clear and Concise
Great ideas are even more powerful when they’re easy to understand.
Stick to the limits: Keep your written pitch under 150 words or your video under 2 minutes.
Use simple language: Avoid jargon or overly complex terms. Imagine you’re explaining your idea to a friend or family member.
